The Debian Go Packaging Team (pkg-go) is a Debian team that packages software and libraries written in the Go programming language.

Our goal is that every package is team-maintained and changes are reviewed by at least one other person, in order to keep the standards high.

If you want to join the the Debian Go Packaging Team, please head over to our Salsa group page at https://salsa.debian.org/go-team/ and click the "Request Access" link. You will need a Salsa account for this. You will need to follow the debian-go mailing list and send an e-mail introducing yourself (include your Salsa username), and explain the reason for your permission. For a DD, a brief e-mail is sufficient; for a non-DD please mention the package(s) you will work on and any earlier package contributions.

Feel free to contact us on #debian-golang on irc.debian.org (webchat). You can also subscribe to our mailing list debian-go and write to us there.

Note that we used to have a mailing list on Alioth which is still available on alioth-lists.debian.net.
